Nett Weights

Nett Weights let you view the true payload of the vehicle by removing the truck’s own weight from the displayed totals.

Enabling Nett Weights

1. Open the SmartOBM app and tap the "More" tab in the bottom right corner:

2. Select Settings:

3. "Show NETT Weight" slider should be greyed out (if it is is white then then you are already displaying Nett Weight):

4. Click on the slider and it will change to white:

Setting the Tare Weight

1. Navigate back to the scan page:

2. Tap on the truck device to view your whole combination:

3. Ensure the vehicle is in the empty state and you are inside the cab:

4. Tap the "Tare" button in the bottom right. This will zero the weight of truck so that, when loaded, the app will display only the payload weight:
