Device Calibration

Step-by-step guide for ensuring your AXS device stays compliant.

Navigate to the Calibration:

1. Drive over a weighbridge one axle group at a time either while empty or loaded:

2. Record the weights shown on the weighbridge and drive off to a flat location and disengage the parking brake.

3. Open the SmartOBM app on a mobile device:

4. Filter by type to include the device you want to calibrate. Ensure the vehicle is powered on:

5. Select the device you want to calibrate:

Enter the Weighbridge Weights:

6. Tap on the device again once on the OBM page:

7. Tap on Calibration:

8. Select the channel, state, and type of calibration you are performing. An unscheduled calibration type will require a note:

9. Tap Calibrate and confirm the calibration:

10. The first calibration is completed. 

11. Repeat steps 5-10 until all desired scales have been calibrated in one state.

12. Repeat all previous steps with the vehicle in the other state i.e either empty or loaded.
