AXS Calibration Reports

Did you know… SmartOBM Calibration Reports are required bi-annually?

The frequency at which Smart On Board Mass must be calibrated depends on a combination of factors including manufacturer-specification, vehicle use and any mechanical changes to an asset. There are also guidelines from TCA the explain typical calibration guidelines. 

• OBM Hardware is required to be calibrated when first installed to ensure accuracy. From this initial calibration, Airtec’s recommended interval is 6 monthly. 
• Re-calibrate (or verify calibration) after any major mechanical changes. 
• Keep calibration logs and records (date, who performed it, sensor IDs, readings, etc) per TCA requirements. 

This can be logged in our Smartphone App with a new app coming January 2026.
